6th European Nanomanipulation Workshop
23.-25. September, Giessen, Germany
Aims and Scope

The series of "European Nanomanipulation Workshops" was initiated
in 2010 with previous workshops in Cascais (Portugal), Tartu (Estonia),
Madrid (Spain), Kraków (Poland) and Mulhouse (France)

Now the 6th edition will be located at the Justus-Liebig University of
Giessen, Germany, from September 23rd-25th, 2015.

The workshop will focus on strategies, methods and theoretical
considerations of manipulating nanosized material, surfaces,
particles and molecules. The strong link to atomic and
mesoscopic friction phenomena is particularly emphasized.

The conference location is only a short train ride away from Frankfurt
airport and can conveniently be reached from anywhere in Europe. The
number of participants is typically around 40-50, which results in an
atmosphere ideal for discussion and personal exchange of ideas.

The workshop is organized in the frame of the COST Action MP1303:
Understanding and Controlling Nano and Mesoscale Friction
